Nine of us on a lovely sunny day that was not too hot.
We arrived at the Shalford steps mooring to continue the fencing job that was started yesterday. We installed two more posts and horizontal rails sections. Plus one more post so that the next crew can see where the line of the fence needs to be.
We also removed a two fallen tree sections from the dog hole, one section came out with some passengers which we repatriated.
There is a shortage of 100mm Timberlock screw bolts so we have had to use nails. Timberlocks will have to be retro fitted in due course when more become available. Everyone worked very hard, especially the post driver crew! We finished and left the site as above with the next post in place. We were unable to identify the above Crayfish species and we returned them to the water.
