9 today. Ambled to S2/Endeavour to be met by A and W. Off moorings by 9:00, beverages enroute to St Catherine’s lock.
A on stern with W for a helming introduction. Moored in the weir on the port side. Started removing ragwort on the section East of St Cat’s whilst avoiding disturbing the protected Cinnabar Moth Caterpillars. Forty litres decanted empty jerries off S2/Endeavour for refilling. Beverage break for elevenses in brevity. Back to ragwort removal and bagging. Bags left in the scallop lay-by on track West of St Cat’s. Everyone worked diligently and much was noticeably achieved.
Clients had a 14:45 meeting to be back for, so Allan pivoted S2/Endeavour out from the weir. W joined for more helming experience. The clients were spent. A pleasant day, made better for our input.
