I was in a rubbish situation before I got involved with Steps2Work no family and no job, meaning I had no real support with money. I was pretty much broke but I wanted to use my skills.
Steps2Work have helped me with my confidence and helped me understand job situations and job interviews and just being supportive in general and being really helpful.
It was really good to have someone help me without judging me and putting me down all the time.
I especially like the support with helping me around with my dyslexia and giving me tools to help me with this. I don’t feel like I should be scared to put myself out there and not be scared to ask for help as I’ve learnt that it’s ok to ask for help.
I now have a job in hairdressing which is what I wanted from the start. I am now in a financially better place…I have learned a lot more skills than I had before.
