Elmbridge Choir has been singing its heart out and raising funds for local good causes for over 16 years now and has upwards of 90 active members.
A volunteer led, not for profit, non audition mixed voice adult community choir it puts on concerts to raise funds for local good causes, performs at community events and participates in festivals and tours. It aims to provide an inclusive, non-judgmental, warm and supportive environment where anyone who wishes to sing with others is welcome, whether they can read music or not, or have any (or no) musical background.
The repertoire is diverse – the choir performs songs from the shows contemporary pop and more traditional pieces. We’ve also covered some amazing close harmony African pieces.
The Choir are very generously raising funds for Surrey Care Trust’s Swingbridge Community Boats and the work the volunteer crews do to help vulnerable people in Surrey. We are very grateful for this wonderful support!
