Heavy rain to start the day after meeting the group at Walnut Bridge, we went to Dapdune Wharf and replenished the boat’s water supplies. We then proceeded to the site beyond St Catherine’s lock to search for the lost wrecking bar. Unfortunately, our magnet fishing yielded nothing, so we will have to return for a further search; it may be necessary for an in-water search by an intrepid “volunteer” wearing waders. Lots of boat handling practice and lock work.
